Sometimes I start with a particular concept in mind, and then work that out photographically. Other times, I shoot scenes and later realize that the photo series reveals a unique concept.
Some of these series rework existing images, while others depict everyday objects, such as bright lights, abandoned buildings, parked bikes, house decorations, iconic symbols, street art, or scenes from nature. A common thread among all of these is that tremendous beauty exists in everyday objects, yet it often requires looking beyond the surface to truly appreciate what is there.
